CWC2025: Thailand's Beautiful South!
This year’s ride was in the Deep Deep South of Thailand. A region that is still very much unknown to most people. The ride started and finished in Phuket and from there the riders explored the better known areas of the South of Thailand – Phang-Nga and Krabi before moving inland towards Trang and Phatthalung. The ride covered well over 700km, mostly on back roads.
As always our objectives was to help those that are in need. This year, the majority of the funds went again to the Mercy House Foundation in Hua Hin, but a portion also went to a local school in the area to provide at least some of the many things they need – from computers to sport equipment and normal school material. The riders stopped at the school and the children gave them the warmest welcome and memories that will stay with the riders forever.
Another objective of "Cyclists with Compassion" is to bring together like-minded people from all corners of the world, age groups, creeds, races, nationalities, cultures etc. for a time of friendship and camaraderie – an objective that we yet again achieved!
Riding in a Cyclists with Compassion tour is a great experience; yes, the long days in the saddle and the heat can be challenging, but at the end all the suffering is rewarded with an indescribable feeling of achievement and friendships bonded for a lifetime. So, it is worth it!
And again, we had the amazing team from Ant Tour Thailand supporting our ride.
Our deepest gratitude to all sponsors!
Kudos to our dear riders: CWC only is what it is because of you and your willingness to step out of your comfort zone in support of some underprivileged children. You are indeed extraordinary in every way. Thank you for the trust you have placed in us and CWC!
Kind regards, GOD Bless and safe cycling, always...
The CWC team!
